Burial at Sea Services
For the scattering of ashes we use a basket to cradle the ashes, allowing them to be lowered, usually by a family member, into the sea and released amidst a dusting of flowers. Flowers for the memorial basket are provided unless you wish to provide your own.

Memorial at Sea Considerations:

In true nautical tradition we will ring the ships bell eight times as the basket is lowered into the sea, signaling the last watch.

Audio, we will pipe your special selections on deck (CD, tape, or IPOD) .

Refreshments can be arranged to suit your needs (please call for pricing) or you can choose to self cater as you might do more traditionally at your home.

For a special touch we will provide a Military Style cannon salute with our authentic bronze Herreshoff signal cannon.

A memorial certificate suitable for framing -- listing time, date and location (latitude & longitude) is provided.

Biodegradable urns are not recommended, but we will accommodate them if you prefer.
Future Burial at Sea services may be arranged with a return trip to the exact location of the original service, if desired.
VS-9 Permits are required and must be provided by the client.
